FLATT LONESOME is a young, new group of pickers fresh to the scene.While deeply-rooted in bluegrass music’s historic classics, they also have an energetic flair for country sounds, progressive jams, and soul-stirring gospel music while never forsaking their traditional essence. If you love high lonesome harmony, soaring sibling vocals, and powerful bluegrass music, then you will love FLATT LONESOME!

CROSSROAD is a bluegrass band featuring some of the finest bluegrass music in the area. We’ve been playing at bars and church gatherings throughout the Big Bend Area for going on seven years. And while we’re a group of seasoned old geezers…this band is just getting started.

Band members include Lisa Pettit on fiddle and vocals, Ed McFarland on bass and vocals, Ken Kanline on banjo and vocals and Glenn Woodsum on mandolin (and vocals when we’re not watching him).

The Monroe Street Band includes Jane Scott (fiddle, vocals), Gordon Scott (mandolin, banjo, vocals), and Drew Leslie (guitar). Jane has been fiddling since the 1980’s and directed the FSU Irish Ensemble for seven years. Gordon began playing music in Kentucky in the 1950’s and played with J.D. Crowe and Doyle Lawson in the 1960’s in the Kentucky Mountain Boys. Both Jane and Gordon are active in the Tallahassee music scene playing old-time dances, Irish sessions, and Bluegrass events. Drew Leslie has been playing guitar with Jane and Gordon in the Greasy String Band and the Monroe Street Band for the last ten years. Monroe Street is firmly rooted in traditional southern music and features breakdowns, waltzes, and country duet singing.

THE ADVENTURES OF ANNABELLE LYN– 4-4:30 p.m.

The Adventures of Annabelle Lyn is a talented trio of swooning, crooning ladies from Tallahassee, FL. Kathryn Belle Long, Elizabeth Fravel and Holly Riley are multi-instrumentalists who have been playing, singing, writing and performing for the vast majority of their lives. Brought together by their common love of acoustic music, they have been entertaining audiences around the Southeast for years at venues such as: Spirit of the Suwannee, Florida Folk Fest, City of Tallahassee events, theatres, weddings, restaurants, listening rooms and parties. Many of their shows are themed with different adventure ideas including: The Wizard of Oz, The Siren Song, The Old Time Train Heist, American Woman, Taking It To The Street, Saving the Farm and A Walk on the Wild Side. Their shows are packed with heartfelt original songs, traditional tunes and crowd-pleasing covers sure to reach the ears, hearts and souls of listeners. The Adventures of Annabelle Lyn is currently working with Log Cabin Studios as they record their first studio album to be released spring of 2016.

THE KENNY HILL BAND– 12:55-1:35 p.m.

The Kenny Hill Band features three artists demonstrating an array of acoustic music styling. Based out of Tallahassee, the band creates a unique style of their own while maintaining the spirit of bluegrass, old country and Western swing. The band focuses on blended three part harmony and arranged musical leads that include combinations of guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and accordion.

The trio came together as a group in 2007 and consists of Brian Hill and Ken Baldauf, from local legendary Cypress Creek band, and Jennifer Hill, and welcome listeners to join them at multiple venues such as restaurants, festivals and celebrations in the area.
